Our Company

Howell Goodfellow was incorporated in March 2016, a natural progression from the Howell Goodfellow Partnership, which was formed in April 2000 by Chartered Building Consultant Ed Howell and David Goodfellow. As professional Quantity Surveyors, Employer’s Agents and Construction Project Managers, with Principal Designer and Designer CHAS accreditation, we deliver successful projects across the UK construction sector.

David Goodfellow – Managing Director

David Goodfellow started out at the age of 16 as an office trainee. He gained qualifications at Bradford College of Building whilst working for a Chartered Quantity Surveying practice. Initially, David worked as a Quantity Surveyor, graduating into Development Cost Consulting and Procurement and Construction Management.  David has over 35 years’ experience in managing all aspects of building projects ranging in value from £50,000 to in excess of £20 million.

Matthew Watson MRICS – Director

Matthew joined Howell Goodfellow in 2010 following completion of a Quantity Surveying degree at Leeds Metropolitan University quickly becoming a valuable team member gaining experience across residential, commercial, industrial and retail sectors. Having become a familiar and trusted point of contact for clients and associates alike, Matthew was promoted to director in 2019. MRICS accredited in Project Management, Matthew has a focus on business development and implementing new digitalised processes.
